The NIH just announced today a new policy for resubmissions. Under the old policy, you were allowed up to two resubmissions (A2). Now you are only allowed one resubmission (A1). If a grant is still not funded after two submissions (the original and a resubmission), the grant needs to be totally rewritten with a different focus. More than ever you've got to use the best tools you have to create the best grant proposal you can!
